Epidemiology, etiology and control of plant diseases.
Understanding how pathogens spread and infect crop plants, especially crops in the central Oregon region, including peppermint, bluegrass, garlic, potatoes, and cool season vegetable seeds. Identifying and quantifying factors that exacerbate or mitigate disease incidence. Directing this understanding toward improved disease control.
